HOW TO CHANGE ACCOUNTANTS

If you already have an accountant when you decide to work with us and are thus wondering how to change accountants. Here's how the transfer of information from them to us typically works.

First, you'll need to authorise us to speak to your existing accountant to obtain all your accounting and tax paperwork. It's simple: all you need to do is sign an authorisation letter which we will send to you.

Once we received your signed letter, we will send a professional courtesy letter to your existing accountant.

In this letter, we will ask your accountant if there is any reason why we cannot take you on as a client. This is a professional formality and does not normally present any problems. The letter also requests a copy of your accounting and tax paperwork.

Once we have received the response from your accountant we will add your opening balances to our system.

However we do recommend that you do not fall behind in your accounting records whilst this administration process is concluded.

As soon as you agree to become a client we will set you up with access to our system to record your transactions.
